OPERATION SMILE AND FREE WHEELCHAIR MISSION PARTNER WITH FREELANTHROPY.COM

LOS ANGELES, Calif. — January 29, 2007 — Freelanthropy, LLC., (www.freelanthropy.com) a free web-search program that allows people to give to charity by searching the Internet, today announced that it has formed partnerships with three additional leading nonprofit organizations, Operation Smile and Free Wheelchair Mission.

“Our mission to help make a difference for charities,” said Freelanthropy Founder and President Dan Sheehy. “We’re looking to fill a gap in the market and want to create a philanthropic legacy through this unique business model.”

“Freelanthropy’s free services help its nonprofit partners stay connected with donors and supporters while generating funds for their causes for free through simple Internet searches powered by Yahoo!. When individuals conduct searches through the Yahoo-powered search engine at www.freelanthropy.com, funds are donated for free directly to their favorite charity – which they select prior to conducting the search.

Freelanthropy’s nonprofit partners and their supporters also benefit from the free customized toolbar that Freelanthropy provides. Each toolbar includes the organization’s logo, links to their site and a programmable news feed to update supporters on the organization’s news and events. The toolbar also includes Yahoo Search and online shopping links which also generate revenue for the organization each time they’re used.

"With just a handful of people making this one small change in their online behavior - searching Yahoo through the Free Wheelchair Mission Community Toolbar, from the Yahoo search box on our site, or searching from Freelanthropy.com - we can provide another wheelchair each month to someone that desperately needs it," said Free Wheelchair Mission Founder and President Don Schoendorfer. "There is no cost or registration, so there's really no reason not to."

Search engines generated almost $6 billion in 2005 alone. With just 100 supporters using Freelanthropy's services the company projects that a nonprofit organization could earn more than $1500 annually.

"Freelanthropy provides our supporters with a new way to stay connected with Operation Smile every day, while also supporting us financially virtually every time they go online," said Eric Overman, Operation Smile's Internet Marketing Manager. "Freelanthropy provided everything to us in a way that was simple to integrate and use - and free - which made the program a very easy choice for us. Now every time one of our supporters searches Yahoo through the different options that Freelanthropy provides our organization benefits financially."
